"Steel is more than a material — it is the spine of every road, every building, every industry that lifts a nation. At Simbi Alloy, we don't just manufacture steel. We forge opportunity."

Patricia Mutombgwera leads Simbi Alloy as Chief Executive Officer, bringing a deep belief that Zimbabwe's industrial future will be built on locally-produced, world-class steel. Under her leadership, Simbi Alloy has grown from a focused Harare operation into a regional steel manufacturer, recycler and supplier serving customers across Southern Africa.

A strategic and people-first leader, Patricia has championed the company's vision of becoming one of the lowest-cost, highest-quality steel producers in the SADC region. She has overseen the expansion of Simbi Alloy's manufacturing capacity, the establishment of certified weighbridge and scrap-recycling operations in Workington, and the development of bespoke casting and fabrication services for mining and industrial clients.

Beyond operations, Patricia is an outspoken advocate for safe workplaces, environmental responsibility, and the development of local skills. She believes strongly in mentoring young Zimbabwean engineers and tradespeople, and in building a company culture where employees, customers and communities all thrive together.

Her leadership philosophy is simple: build with integrity, invest in people, and never compromise on quality. It is the philosophy that defines Simbi Alloy today.
