Forging Africa's future, one alloy at a time.
Five years of manufacturing, distributing and recycling steel from the heart of Harare.
Who we are
Simbi Alloy has been operational in Zimbabwe for five years and aims to be one of the dominant players in the local and regional steel markets. We manufacture our products using a wide range of local material to meet our customers' needs.
Our company is mainly engaged in the manufacturing and wholesale distribution of steel, steel bars and structural steel. Simbi Alloy also operates as a recycling company where we purchase, collect, process and recycle ferrous (iron and steel) and non-ferrous metals (aluminium, copper, zinc, stainless steel, lead, nickel, brass, tin, bronze and others).
From our conveniently-located scrap yards in Workington, Harare, we purchase scrap metals from a range of Southern African sources including industrial enterprises, scrap metal dealers and private individuals. Simbi Alloy also acquires scrap metal from outside projects, providing expert demolition services to mines and factories — fully equipped to deal with all environmental hazards.
To produce quality steel products, being an employer and supplier of choice, while striving to be among the lowest-cost steel producers in the Southern African region.
We endeavour to brand, differentiate and market Simbi Alloy in a customer-centric, market-driven manner — while creating an environment conducive to strategic collaboration and recognition of all our stakeholders.
We are committed to:
Protecting the health and safety of our employees
Pursuing operational excellence in all business processes
Producing innovative high-quality steel solutions on time
Protecting our environment and caring for the communities in which we operate
Being a fair employer and a career and skills developer
